a man sitting in a mental institution cell gets up from bed and walks towards the small, barred, window. He yells at the people outside. They all look up and wave, a subtitle on the bottom of the screen says "HI FRANK!!"

He shakes his fist at them, turns around and stumbles back to his bed. He sits down and pulls an issue of Popular Mechanics (from 1954) and opens it up to the Do-it-yourself section. He barely has time to look at it before he notives someone (a doctor) outside his door (someone slid open the hatch in the door)

The insane man starts yelling "whats that" at the doctor outside along who shows no emotion.

He realises the man outside doesnt care, he starts pounding on the door.

He reaches through the slot in the door and pulls the doctor at him (and right into the door.)

With your opinion which is of no consequence at all

he pushes the doctor back and he falls to the floor, he gets up, he adjusts his glasses, he makes some notes on his clipboard and walks off

He walks back to his magazine, singing along with the music he cant hear.

He looks at the plan to build-your-own-jet-plane

Ambition makes you look pretty ugly

he starts breaking and ripping his bed apart. The camera goes real fast until he touches something, where it slows down, but the moment he drops it or lets go, the camera speeds back up (this is done specifically to mess with old peoples heads, who will think their brain is on the fritz)

Kicking and squealing, Gucci little piggy

Still being fast/slow, as he starts picking up peices of metal from the floor and comparing it to things in the magazine.

He grabs the magazine and runs to the window, waving the magazine to show the others his plan. Hes laughing at them as if the say "im gonna be free"

Once again, they all wave in unison, and small white letters say on the bottom "HI BILL"

He runs back to his project. He starts stacking and tying the peices of metal into the crude shape of a plane.

His plane looks nothing like the one in the magazine.

Back to the window, he yells at the crowd below, "HI GEORGE!" they yell at him.

I guess he does

he yells as if to ask for help.

They all start throwing their shoes at him

He tries to catch a few

He gets a few, and he nods a few in thanks, and pulls his head back in

he starts pulling the shoelaces from the shoe

and starts to tie more metal to his "plane"

he piles all the lace-less shoes in his arms and walks to the window

they all scream (more small white letters) "STOP IT JEAN-PIERRE"

through this whole part, he builds up his "plane" and prepares it for "takeoff"

he starts talking to himself along with the song which he cant hear

He starts wrapping the sheets from his bed around the "wings"

The dust and the screaming

he sits on top of his "plane"

The yuppies networking

and waits for it to take off

He gets off his plane and walks to the window to tell the others that hes not going anywhere.
