the only time the camera moves in the video is when it shows what is on the tv. while some radiohead vidoes star thom (no surprises, karma police), the main band member featured in this video is phil, who, by the way, isnt even playing in the song, because there are no drums. the video starts out with phil simply sitting in the front seat of a limousine. there is very poor lighting, and you can barely make out his face. for a while, he is just looking around, but about the time thom sings "and these fruits" he turns on the TV. he is flipping through the channels, nothing interesting in particular is on, except when the "i wont be around" part starts, thom is on the television, wearing a wig and singing. phil changes the channel a couple seconds after thom sings "when you really need me." soon phil turns off the TV. for about the next forty seconds, he just sits not really doing anything. his eyes move around but he barely moves his body. at the time thom sings "i wont have the strength", phil hits the steering wheel. an airbag comes out and smacks him in the face. he seems unconscious. he lays like that for a few seconds. a couple seconds after the song ends, johnny opens the other door and turns on the TV, seemingly not noticing his injured bandmate a few inches away. on the screen you can see what looks like an alien porno film. the end.
