exit music (for a film)
director:
mary-eve
Music starts:
we see a dark room, a figure in a bed...and a shadow tapping the window
[the window is big, and swings open (like a door) it is about 3 feet
above the ground]
Wake from your sleep...:
the figure moves, it's a young woman, she sits up and turns on a dim
light, sees the figure and quickly goes to the window
Today we escape...:
she opens the window and a young man climbs in, they embrace and kiss.
Pack and get dressed....:
she goes to a closet and pulls out a bag already packed and the boy
takes it out the window with him...she hands a few things from around
the room out to him
Breathe, keep breathing....:
she stops, stands in the middle of the room, looking worried,
the boy climbs back in and goes to her, holds her, strokes her
hair...trying to calm her
I can not do this alone...:
they smile at each other
Sing us a song....:
they both climb out the window, grab her stuff, and start to run across
the large dimly lit yard
1st such a chill:
she stops and looks back
2nd such a chill:
he stops next to her
And you can laugh....:
flashback to a fight, the girl and her father yelling, she is crying,
[the whole sceen is very dramatic, lights flashing, quick shots of each
person yelling] the father grabs the girl and she pushes away, he hits
her and she falls
And now we are one:
shot of the two staring at the house, holding hands, frightened looks on
their faces
We hope that you choke:
cut to the young couple runing down the long dark street to a waiting
car
2nd to last whtyc:
they get in the car and speed off
last whtyc:
shot of the father standing in the street, watching the car speeding
away...no emotion
